EDEM DESIGN SOFTWARE
Provide specialist support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties EDEM is high-performance Discrete Element Method (DEM) software for bulk material flow simulation.Specialise in working with pupils with a range of challenges and difficulties.The successful application will need to have experience teaching Food and Design Technology curriculum's to Yrs 7 to 11 and have experience of working with a range of SEMH and learning needs. The school follow the NC curriculum and they accredit at the end of year 11, using the BTEC Introductory Level 1 courses. The School are looking for a teacher to teach at both schools. You will be expected to teach Food technology and Design Technology to all years from 7 to 11. All students have significant SEMH needs but many, particularly on the special school, also have a range of complex learning needs and require tailored learning and support opportunities. This School is an integrated Special School and Pupil Referral Unit catering for up to 100 secondary aged students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and operates from two sites. The role will be to start from January 2021 for the Spring term and possibly longer Eden Brown education are looking for a qualified Food and Design Technology teacher to work within a special school for students from year 7 to 11.
